Consistently Delivering High-Quality Support, Rooted in Real-World Experience
The team at Copper Turtle bring with them more than sixty years of combined business experience, along with a depth of expertise that our clients tell us is evident in every aspect of our engagement.
The Problem
The Regional Defence and Security Clusters rely heavily on voluntary engagement across the triple helix, SMEs, Academia and Industry Primes, to successfully engage with Government and the Ministry of Defence to deliver programmes of events that will ultimately help ensure that our front-line troops have the best equipment to enable them to be war fighting ready.
Our Approach
Copper Turtle commit to over 100 hours a year voluntarily to the RDSCs, where we have demonstrated a passion and a rare blend of strategic insight, practical capability, and a genuine commitment to strengthening the defence and maritime ecosystem across the South West.
Our Findings
Feedback from Steering Group Members tells us that our contribution has been instrumental in supporting both the SWRDSC Programme Team and the Steering Group, providing thoughtful challenge, informed guidance, and a steady and proactive presence as the Cluster continues to grow in scale and ambition. “Elaine and her team have demonstrated a unique ability to navigate and engage with complex commercial landscapes and turn their experience into actionable advice which has supported SWRDSC governance, sharpened delivery, and strengthened engagement with industry.”
“The SWRDSC is grateful for their dedication and the positive impact they have made on the Cluster’s mission to champion innovation, capability development, and economic resilience within the regional defence and maritime sectors. I wholeheartedly endorse Copper Turtle and Elaine Plested’s team and look forward to continued collaboration as we work together to support the region’s growth and strategic ambitions.
Their professionalism, responsiveness, and collaborative approach have made them a trusted and valued partner to the Cluster.”
