Accelerating capability for the region through collaboration

Accelerating capability for the region through collaboration – a critical theme for the South Central RDSC meeting at Aldershot yesterday.
With this theme in mind, my thoughts went to our forthcoming Copper Turtle strategy days, current client base and future opportunities for collaboration.
No more mention of ‘DIP dithering’, Chris Wardman and I decided a long-time ago that it is business as usual. Keeping up to date with the changes in UK Ministry of Defence along with a strong, positive focus is key to success, with RDSC events being a great way to suck up information.
Key highlights:
UK Defence Innovation current themed competitions – I’d missed one opportunity, that I’ve now connected with a potential client (there are 4 out now, so check them out!)
UK Defence Solutions Centre – a refresher for me, and a chance to connect this with some of our current opportunities and download the JEDHub data
A panel discussion around growing business through skills and capabilities – and the plans moving forward off the back of the Defence Technical Excellence College status awards
Connecting with new people – great to meet you Jon O., Rosanna Turner, Mark Downer and Lesley Wrankmore.
As always, great to see those already in my network, Andrew Barnett, Michelle McClean, Kim Pellett, Darrin Laishley, Rocky Moore, Sara Duff, Wayne Sykes, Kevin Watkins (borrowed your photo, it was much better than mine!), Dr Mark H., Kathryn Clamp, Jason Holt and Sam Baker.
